I was learning to tell the parts of fiction stories.  I can tell the parts of fiction stories.  It was easy because I had lots of time and help. 

IALT: find the parts of fiction stories

I was learning to tell parts of fiction stories. I know how to find the characters really well. It was easy because I have been learning it.

IALT find base words.

I was learning to find base words. I can do spelling and look for base words. It was easy because we were learning in the book.

Making contractions

I was learning to make contractions.  I know that a contraction is two words and we join it together with an apostrophe.  It was easy to make them because you put them together.

Making compound words

I was learning to make compound words.  It was easy because I just put it together with the little words.
